This album is a collection of songs Catfish John has written over the years with a country flavor. Although he is primarily a blues player, he has played in many country and bluegrass bands. Having grown up in Montana, country music has had an influence on his music. There are two new songs that have not been previously released, "Take Me Back To The Country", and "Can't Help The Way I Feel".

Since his first public performances in the early 70's in Denver, Catfish has toured the country both as a solo artist and in bands performing in clubs, coffeehouses, music festivals and concerts. His favorite style of music is a combination of Blues & Rock. He has performed in bands ranging from traditional blues and folk to more modern rock and roll.
